S 1000 R er strippet ned til det essensielle, men med maksimert kjøreopplevelsen. Dens agressive motor med 121 kW (165 hk) vil få deg til å smile fra øre til øre hver gang du drar på litt ekstra. Dens fantastiske lyd og nye standard HP titan lyddemper etterlater ingen tvil. Det er slik livet i venstrefila høres ut. 

S 1000 R gir deg to kjøremoduser som standard: «Rain» og «Road». «Rain» gir en mild gassrespons, med ABS og ASC tilpasset våte veiflater. «Road» gir optimal gassrespons, ABS og ASC for tørr asfalt.

Så det er egentlig bare en grense: din egen personlige.
